We are finally getting a cool breeze in Texas. Of course, everyone in Texas does it big. So while I wore this little jacket to keep me warm, I anticipated the UGGS coming out and the ski jackets. Mind you it only got down to about 60 degrees. When I went to church, I literally made a mental note to count the number of fur boots and fur coats on the ladies. I saw none.
BUT...I did see a MAN at the bar at Pappadeaux's during brunch with a FUR COAT on...with a HOOD!!!! A HOOD! Fur Coat? Really? In Houston dude? Really? You couldn't just wear a hoodie? A long sleeved shirt with a v neck pull over? Anything? And why are you sitting at the bar...at 11am, mind you, drinking alcohol...wearing your fur coat...INSIDE! They have heat in here!
Furthermore FurMan...why do you even own a fur coat in Houston? We only get about one week of winter weather every 2 years!

We used to have this man that was a big wig at an important agency in Philly. He would come to all of our events in his fur coat... we felt worried about him. : ) I guess it takes a big man to wear a fur coat!

ReplyDelete*sigh*.. the day I met my husband he had on a .. *sigh* fur coat with a hood! DEAD!!! lol He was interested in me.. I told our mutual friend that there was no way on God's good green earth that I'd date someone that owned (and had the gaul to wear) such an atrocious thing... 4 years later, he is only allowed to look at the coat as a reminder of how fashionably horrible his life was before moi..lol

Oh he fancy, huh? There was a guy at the church that I used to attend who wore a BAF (big azz fur) and I asked him where he was from and he said California! So from Cali to Texas he felt the need to get a fur??? I LOVE LOVE the camo jacket + leopard print, I wouldn't have thought of it but I may need one in my life.....and you and a damn belt are BFFs!

i never thought to mix these prints, but they look pretty cool. it rarely dips below the 70s here, but there are those with the fur-lined boots and coats. its ok tho - we shouldn't be denied wearing these things just because we don't have cold weather...lol!
