At Least I Am Consistent...

I had it all planned out. 

I saw this dress and literally screamed TC!

Remember her?

That's why I bought this dress. 

And then I was going to do a whole post about TC. 

Then I typed in TC from Good Times in Google Search.

And I CAME UP! 

LOL! 

Because I apparently already paid homage to TC. 

Here's proof. 

So no point in writing about TC again because duh. 

I will say that any day that I dress like TC from Good Times. 

It probably was a good day.

Today, I'm JJ Evans (Giveaway TOO)

 

I wore this the other night while out to dinner with the girls.

It's officially fall and I decided NOW to wear shorts. 

I almost NEVER wear shorts.

But for some reason, I thought it was ok.

It'll pass.

It always does.

I've grown to appreciate my legs...blemishes and all.

Somebody, somewhere has no legs at all, so I'll take these with glee:)

 

H&M top...Juanette saw it 1st while we were in Atlanta. After I tried it on, I knew it was coming home with me too.

Also, I'm feeling a lot like JJ from that episode of Good Times where everyone got sick from the "bad supermarket meat" except JJ.

Yeah...that's what's happening in my household right now.

From bronchitis to viral infections...things are a' swirling all around me.

But I feel perfectly fine.

I hope I don't have the same fate as JJ at the end of that episode.

My Life According to Good Times

I had to exchange one of my gifts which were some Christmas shoes. I thought I would just pop in and out but the allure of pretty shoes all around just kind of sucked me in for a minute...sixty minutes to be exact.

I tried on these gingham Louboutin heels and I think I blacked out for a minute. I saw myself in so many places in these babies. The price is way past my reality but oh how pretty they are! But dare I say that my toes hurt in them? I said it. They hurt. But if they were a given to me out of the goodness of anyone's heart,  I would wear them everywhere...crunched up toes and all.

I ended up getting these Pour La Victoire "Irina" shoes. When I say I love this shoe..I mean it. I love it. It's hella sexy and comfy at the same time. I did enjoy my time playing in shoes though:)

(If you are regular follower of my blog then  you already know that most of my life revolves around  episodes of Good Times. When I tried on those Louboutin's, I felt like the chick in that episode of Good Times who tried to rob the Evans family. Right before Thelma calls the cops on her, she sprays some perfume on herself and says "Well, atleast I'll smell rich" HA!)

Has this been a long week to anyone else besides me? Geesh!

 I wasn't ecstatic about the bootie with this dress. The proportions were kinda off for me...you win some,  you lose some. I don't hate the combo but I won't rave about it.

This dress is channeling TC from that episode of Good Times when the "handy man" was a girl who had a crush on JJ. Remember that episode!?! She was a total tomboy but sexed up her look for JJ! I know you remember that episode!

Well I found the clip...you can't tell me this dress doesn't look like a TC dress! That's my whole purpose in life...to dress like Good Times characters!
