Don't You Hate One Sided Relationships?

I  present to you God's Not So

 Favorite Shoes!

I've been meaning to do this post for months now and just haven't gotten around to it. I pulled all of my "pretty" shoes that I love but somehow they don't  have love for  me!  I am pretty sure I bought each one of these shoes with the impulse to wear them to death but they had other plans apparently. For some reason the aesthetics of these beautiful creatures don't mix with my feet chemistry!
These studded suede booties are fabulous. I remember when I saw them in the store. I literally gasped! But it took me years to learn that stilettos are not healthy for all of this jelly! I  can NOT balance in them! I've developed an affection for platform heels over the years.
Those black patent leather wedges by Steve Madden literally have NEVER been worn. EVER. They are entirely too high and we all know that I am top heavy. Honey, I am leaning so far over when I put these on, you would swear that  I am about to kneel in prayer and pray to the East or something. Not a good look!
The purple ones are just too big for some reason and they flop. The crazy thing is that I vividly recall prancing around in the shoe store making sure they fit!

Now those Leopard Jessica Simpson Heels, I can tolerate. They are totally worth the pain. Plus they have the longest threshold before the big toe starts to throb. I am good in these heels for about 4 hours before I start thinking unclean thoughts:)

I recently read an interview where Victoria Beckham says that most of her shoes hurt her feet but she sucks it up. Me...not so much. Maybe it's the fact that my heels have a little more weight to carry than Victoria. I do know when to let it go though. I draw the line at wobbling in painful shoes. I hate seeing women not able to wear heels correctly! If I can't handle any heel, please believe that I will abort the mission!

Just because I can't handle the pain doesn't mean you can't. If you are interested in buying any of these....send me an email and let's work it out. I'm not willing to give up the Red Marc Jacobs or the Leopard shoes. Everything else is up for grabs! Most shoes have only been worn 2 times if at all and most come with the original box.

P.S....Kyla over at Blue Collar Catwalk has a similar deal going on over there:)

By the way, I wear sizes US 8 and US size 8.5

Ok, wait...I don't think I can give up the Blue/green/Aqua..whatever the hell color...Booties. They make me happy just looking at them. Maybe I'll just wear them to bed or places where I only have to walk 5 steps. It's your fault though...everybody kept leaving comments saying how fab they are. I had already set up an ebay account to sell them and everything but I can't let them go. Everything else...yes...except the Red Marc Jacobs and the Leopards! LOL. I need treatment.

If I had a dollar for every pair of shoes I've bought then declared too high, pinched, painful, awkward I'd be able to.. Well... Buy twice as many shoes.

I've got a pair of Steve Madden leopard heels that I absolutely adore but have no reason to wear. So I put them in the front row of my closet. At least I can admire them. *sigh*

I used to have this pair of shoes that were super cute and comfortable. Amazing, right? Well, there was a problem, they were super slippery, and I fell more than once in them. When I fell smack on my butt when I was about to cross a road one day I decided that if I didn't get rid of them those shoes would be the death of me.

I can totally relate...I have several pairs of shoes in my closet that I don't wear because they are too uncomfortable but have not been able to part with them yet. I love your blog..it's one of my favorites...you are funny, you don't take yourself too seriously and you have great style. Thank you for putting a smile on my face every time I read!

I know what you mean. I have a slew of shoes that I purchased thinking they would be comfortable but have ended up being incredibly painful. But generally speaking, if they are right for an outfit, I just suck it up.

Those turquoise studded cage heels are crazy gorgeous!

Love the leopard ones! Everytime I try on JS shoes with round toes I feel like crying! They are always so cute, but feel too painful for me to actually purchase:) The Marc Jacob' shoes are to die for! If you ever change your mind abotu those:0) The wedges are cute too, I just don't know what to do about them.

Oh, they're too pretty to be uncomfortable! I love your description of the Marc Jacobs pair though, hidden rocks imbedded in the soles. I think I have a few pairs like that myself!

Just stopping by from SITS and basking in your blog. Shoes, even uncomfortable ones...mmmm...

Yeah. Me too. I am too much of a wuss to wear them if they hurt!

Ouch! I hate it when you want cute shoes to work so much that you buy them anyways thinking you'll "get used" to them and it doesn't happen! I have four pairs of heels in that category. Grrrrr! Now I know that lower heels = better for me. Or heels with Nike Air technology, like Cole Haan's heels.

Those blue studded booties are GORG. Are those 8.5?! *hopes and prays*

If so I'd potentially be interested! Please email me :) sarahhh at gmail.com

ps. I seriously love your blog.

If you still have those Steve Madden wedges when I get a job, I'm sending extra money for Priority Mail service!

Dude! I can't believe, that for the amount of money you must have paid for those Marc Jacobs hotties, they are still uncomfortable! For that money they ought to be like walking on clouds! This discovery puts the Cole Haans with Nike technology into a whole new functional light.

I am so with you! I sometimes buy pretty shoes, make sure they feel great in the store, and then get home and find out I can't wear them. That makes me dismal! I just HATE when shoes are uncomfortable. I can not clomp and complain all day! I started wearing flats in September because I had to walk around a lot at court and now, I am SO sad to report, it is hard to go back to heels... I miss them! I love yours. Those leopard ones are HOT! And the booties....OMGosh! Wow.

girl, i hear you. i am such a wuss in high heels. it is like i have baby feet. not that they are SMALL feet, but they do NOT endure pain well at all. i have so many shoes that are pretty much unwearable. but many cost a pretty penny, or they just look so fucking good, so i can't get rid of them. not yet. no way. and last year i sprained my right ankle (actually, i think i BROKE it -- as it still hurts every single day but i HATE going to the doctor and haven't checked it out) and then later i sprained my left ankle. put me in a wheelchair already (no, please don't), then i could wear high heels.

Do you still have the patent steve madden's? Oh and I have tons of shoes, what I do is, if a shoe is too tight, I put on my thickest socks, pour some alcohol (not the drankn kind) into the shoe and walk around the house until the shoe is dry. This usually works for me and the alcohol will not stain....
