My Drug of Choice

Here is the truth as of right now. I have high anxiety issues. Money stresses me out. I take personal issues to heart and allow it to stress me out. But Golden Oreos make me feel better. So, I've been feeling really good for the last few hours...thank you Double Stuff Golden Oreos.
Don't judge me, you know you have that favorite thing that helps soothe the stresses of life. I don't do drugs. I do Oreos. Judge me not, lest ye be judged (is that in the bible or a Snoop Dog song...can't remember:)
The only thing that can make me possibly get rid of my anxiety is maybe if Jesus himself lined the streets with a trail of Golden Oreos leading to him...what a glorius day that would be!

Unfortunately, things that make you feel good usually have a downside...a consequence...a side effect. The thickness in my hips are my consequence. Remember a few weeks ago, I was all excited about jogging a solid 20 minutes...forget I said that. A couple of weeks ago, the mister and I had to run in the airport to catch our connecting flight. We  He ran, I hyperventilated. My short legs couldn't catch up to his walking strides. I think I might have screamed "GO, SAVE YOURSELF!" at one point. I don't remember, I was losing oxygen. It's a blur. We made the flight but that little run made my throat burn.

I haven't kicked the habit but I do plan to soon...as soon as I finish the pack of Oreos.
Don't give up on me!

You are too hilarious! I have never had those oreos, maybe they are the cure for what ails us: the key to world peace, gang wars; have a double stuff golden oreo!

Love the outfit, I will use this for inspiration!

Thank you for my morning laugh. I think we can all relate to our little temptations.

Find a quiet forest/woods nearby and go for daily walks at your own pace. That beats anxiety better than your choosen method. The kimono looks so dashing on you;-)

Golden oreos?? Nice choice. =D

I won't judge. I've bene known to finish an entire pack by myself...and I don't mean the 6 pack either.

I really do like your kimono. The color is really good against your skin.
Super crazy side note - I like Uh O's too (that what I call golden Oreos) and late last year when I was completely bored I wrote a letter to Breyers asking for golden oreo ice cream. You can thank me when/if it happens.

Just marry the mister and take his money (i.e., monthly shakedown, mafia style)...that's what my hubby says I do :) Or, on second thought, just eat yummy oreos--they certainly don't talk back or forget to clean up after themselves.
P.S. those rolled jeans look awesome on you. Love the outfit.

Oh, and I've been known to eat one of those huge bags of peanut M&M's in one day, so no judgements here.

man I hate anxiety. I hope you're able to relax soon. It's the weekend!!! ...well, almost. I LOVE your vintage kimono. I really am going to have to search for one now because they are just too fabulous. Love it with the casual jeans.

and lol to the "pout" situation. I heard the Olsen twins say the word "prune" when being photographed to get the pout but that doesn't work for me. Make love to the camera ..ahahahahhaha

I had to do a search for one of your Oreo-related posts just to tell you that a family member stayed at my house, purchased these cookies and left them in the pantry. When I saw them there I IMMEDIATELY thought of you.
