I decided to do some major color blocking one of my nights in New Orleans. I wanted to steer clear of "all black everything." It's amazing how much my style has changed over the years...a large part due to blogging.
It has allowed me to try new things and step out of my once "Banana Republic only" box!
I know you are tired of me wearing my Blue Suede PLV heels but I just love them so! They are so comfy and perfect for any occasion.
They serve me well whether I'm in church or crawling on New Orleans streets after hours...which would eventually lead me right back to church if I'm not careful:)

HAS BLOGGING CHANGED YOUR STYLE??
Next New Orleans post coming in a few days...
And don't forget about the Houston Blogger Meet up this Saturday! March 26...are you coming?

No, believe it or not, I simply can not fly to Houston for the meet up! It is a good thing too since I would wear black polyester pants, a black shirt, a black sweater and black flats. You would kick me out of the meet up!
I am soo not tired of those shoes.
I love them!
Wear them until the sole comes loose! :-)
I was the exact same way. A few years ago, I practically LIVED in Banana Republic! Now, I can barely find anything that suits my current taste. It's crazy how things change over time.
You look amazing, by the way! Go ahead and package that clutch bag up and send it to Chicago. Thanks! :)
amazing colours, love the outfit and the shoes are fab!
Blogging has majorly changed my style. I used to wear whatever the heck crap was clean. No accessories ever. And pretty much all black everything. All the time. Am I fashionable now? Ummmmmm not so much! But I think a lot more about what I am wearing and how it can be more interesting.
I could never get tired of those shoes!!! I love your outfit.
Blogging has changed me.. it made me feel more comfortable with taking risks because I normally stayed in one box. But because I see so many fabulous looks on others, it inspires me.
Once I have the baby, I'll get back in the swing of things... now, it's all about being cute and comfy for me.
even though i do not post outfits, blogging has definitely altered my style. i feel that i have began my informal education to support my natural styling talent. in the past i have practiced on others but blogging has encouraged me to experiment with my style and what exists in closet...and i am indeed a better person because of it :)

Blogging has made me braver. Absolutely.
Love the color blocking on you.
I love how you combined these colors...so playful and fabulous:-)
love the color blocking.
blogging has definitely made me push the envelope on my style. im not at the fearless level yet but im on my way.
And I lived for GAP everything. Although I'm not a fashion blogger, I do follow fashion blogs (I am your littlesister in my head) and I've quickly gone from matchy matchy to thrifting, mixing and evolving into a career woman. You do know that we all have pair or two of shoes we wear with everything because they are super duper fab but if you ever get tired I'll give you my addy.
Love the whole look! Perfect for this season. I will be at the blogger meet up God willing :)

cute!
Reading blogs def changed my style, and I learned a few tricks that helped me dress more for the way that I wanted to look. Posting itself has changed, if not necessarily my style, then certainly how I feel about it. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that I am fearless now, but I think that putting myself out there has made me much braver about wearing what I want to wear and I like the way that I look- and I think a lot of this has translated to how I act even outside of what I'm wearing. I'm finding myself much better and more willing to put myself out there.
Yes! I absolutely love this outfit. It's not only super modern and stylish, but it flatters your figure to the max. I love the red skirt on you in particular....
And blogging has certainly opened my eyes to things I would never have gotten used to wearing before...weird wedge platform shoes, harem pants? I am still only halfway okay with harem pants, but still...
Love the colorblocking!! I cant wait to try this myself, but I am DEATHLY afraid of all over color

Loving those blue pumps and I also love that clutch! CA-YOOT!!
man, I wish I was in Houston! I wanna meet and greet with the Houston crew! :(
Anyway, you look FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC! Your hair is to die for, and the outfit is just HOT!! New Orleans wasn't even ready for you!
.. and girl those shoes! I'd be wearing them every day, too!
I love this color blocking! You look fabulous, and the purple and red is an excellent combination.

I'm not a blogger but I can definitely say that READING and FOLLOWING blogs has definitely altered my style. It makes me more fearless and more inclined to do what comes naturally to me instead of what is popular. I love color (I also love my blue suede platform pumps). And I found a hot pair of lime green pumps for the low at www.thepinkcarptboutique.com. They are my new favotires! Keep doing the do, Lady!
