The pictures are trickling in, so here are a few more snapshots from different cameras.
I promise to go into detail about how everything went down.
Just know that we went the very non traditional route.
Things You Should Know...
1. Technically, we pulled off a surprise wedding. Most people thought we went to the courthouse and were just throwing a party. Little did they know that we would get married AT the party:)
2. I would say we planned the wedding in about 3 months...we've been engaged since the 1800's though:)
3. We cared more about having a great DJ than me skipping down an aisle of crushed roses...that's so not me.
4. We walked down the aisle together.
5. I wanted to feel and look the most like me...hence the leopard shoes, bangles and hoop earrings.
6. I got my wedding dress from Dillard's on sale for a little over $100 (Calvin Klein Dress).
People took more pics of his custom Chuck Taylor's than of us. LOL!
I promise to break down the whole wedding...just waiting for more pictures to go along with the story:)
A party shot...the venue was BEAUTIFUL!
My buddy, performer Lee-Lonn...he performed his song Maybe...at the reception and I was the video girl during the performance...not really:)
If you are from the South, then you know that I'm throwing up the Deuce to the South Side Song (a Houston, Texas anthem)...if you have no idea what I'm talking about...just smile and nod.
My Zumba buddy Ro was there! She is my favorite workout partner ever because we both try to booty pop to the ground in Zumba class! She gets lower than me:)
Oh...and she accidentally hit on my father in law! She hung her head in shame once she figured out who he was! LOL
Check out all the stuff Trina of Ah Me So Hongry had to go through to get to the wedding here!
I stole this pic from Trina's blog:)
I decided the day before that I needed a back up pair of shoes for the reception.
These fuschia pretties were $30 by Steve Madden.
Bangles from Aldo Accessories. I wore two packs of bracelets on one arm.
You expected that...of course you did!
A hilarious shot!
Thank you JB and Ace for taking pics so I can steal them!
More details coming...plus honeymoon pics from Puerto REIKO!

Beautiful. I'm so inspired.
Absolutely beautiful!! It's good to have a wedding that is for yourself, NOT a show for others. You made the right choice in buying a dress that felt the most like you. I did the same thing, and my wedding day was sooooo special! Congratulations!!! You're both beaming!! ~Serene
I luv it...everything looks great. And congrats again.
Great pics. looks like you two had a blast. Good for you broke tradition and did it your way! Love that you walked down the aisle together, and the shoes... the shoes! : )
Congrats! Looks like you had a wonderful time on your special day.
I LOVE non-traditional weddings!!! Your dress was too cute. I may steal this idea! LOL
**chunking the "Southside" deuce back to you while doing the dance**
I can't wait to hear about Puerto Rico!
Awwwwwwww!!! :)
AHHHH AHAHA I'm going to KILL you...
He was smooth though...I'm jus sayin!
I'm still smiling and laughing at funny moments from the pics.
I still wanna start walking outside when it cools off!!
Reiko, I looove it and I love those shoes. I thought I was the only one who didn't want to wear white shoes and wanted a sexy dress. I love how you stay true to yourself.
It looks like youi guys had so much FUN at this wedding!! Lovin' his shoes & the fact that you were a DIVA & had backup shoes! Cute! Now this is the way to do it.

I LOVE your dress and I totally dig the "non-traditional" route! Folks get so caught up in the traditional nonsense that they totally miss out on the significance of the day. Looks like it was an awesome party! Can't wait to see more pics!
What a beautiful and unique wedding. Lovely pics!
umm, i don't think juannette got the memo on photobombing....the goal is to not be noticed until AFTER the photo has been taken...
One Word. Three times.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!
Love it!! The nontraditional route is the best route!! Be you girl!! I am from Houston, so I am throwin' the deuces right back at cha'!!
Your day was beautiful! Thanks for sharing pictures! Love your style!
You are the funniest person I know. And it seems that your wedding was exactly like you wanted it to be. I love the change of shoes (instead of dress). You should come up with a blog about how to throw a low budget wedding. I am always amazed at how much money people put in a dress (that they may wore only once). Yours is beautiful and worth more than the 100 you put in it...because you make it work. Can't wait for the pics of Puerto Reiko
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...Sean's shoes had y'alls name on them!!!!!!!!! Awwww...you should be a non-traditional wedding, wedding planner. That was the first wedding in a long time that didn't make me throw up in my mouth. And it actually made me want to get married...someday...not soon, but someday! Can't wait to see honeymoon pics!!!
Congratulations! I hope you embraced joy, love and good will on your day.
You were a beautiful bride (and your groom's not too shabby).
Everything about your wedding seems gorgeous! Congratulations a thousand times over! you looked gorgeous, as always :D

I love the customized Chuck Taylor shoes of your husband. Anyway, of all type of suits, why did your husband choose slim fit suits? It's really great, the red tie made him look even handsome! Anyway, I'd like to congratulate you for your wedding!
You look fabulous! and those chucks. cute!!
I can't wait to see more!
I'm speechless... you did that!!!! You both look GREAT!!!! And, I'm from the South. Born & raised so I see them Deuces... lol
