The Roof Is On Fire!

First of all, thanks for all the great advice on getting over a cold. I am about 85% now which means I can actually breathe now. I took Tylenol Cold for a day or so and that seemed to work better than the Sudafed. To be honest, what really helped was the 16 straight hours of sleep that I got on Sunday. It was the best sleep ever.

Because I was well enough to walk among the living, I was able to pull myself together and look decent. And before you say it. I KNOW...THE BELT AGAIN! I can't help it! It simply makes me happy. I have concluded after careful thought that if my house was burning down and was allowed to save one article of clothing...it would be this belt! No...I am serious. I think I paid all of 2 bucks for this belt at a vintage shop and it's the best 2 bucks I've spent.

With that said, if YOU were allowed to save one article of clothing from a burning house, what would it be? Please don't say pictures, pets or kids...yeah, yeah yeah...we know...I want you to be TOTALLY materialistic with your answer. What would it be??

Random note: Does anyone watch The Tudors, Nurse Jackie or The Good Wife?!? I am obsessed with those shows!
I changed my belt but it just doesn't do it like the first belt.

First off, you look FAB!

I keep picturing a red belt with the dress. That's an amazing find for $2!

What would I grab if there were a fire (materialistly speaking) My Gucci purse. ;-)

This is hard but I'd have to go with my Banana Republic classic trench coat. Practical, reliable and chic. You look fantastic!

You look so freakin' AWESOME in that first photo! And if you're going to save that belt in the case of a potential fire, I hope you'll be wearing those shoes when you do!

Glad you're feeling better mamacita, you are looking fab! I watch The Good Wife, I love Chris Noth, before he was Big, ever since Law & Order. I have a doctor who looks just like him, I prolong our conversations so that I can look at him.....I don't know the ONE thing I would take, I have a pair of Loubs that I have never worn but they are so beautiful, they kill my feet but they were $40 so I had to get them just on GP; eye candy!

Hmmm...what would I save??? Does it have to be just one thing?? I mean there is my CK Dress rack where all my CK dresses are...there are my fab pink suede shoes that I tell people not to step on and all my pencil skirts that make my pretty round brown look great...plus these new red satin shoes with the flower...man...this is too taxing.
**heavy sigh**

Hey everyone...I got to see Reiko Sunday! na-na-na-boo-boo And she is just as fab in person as she is on your monitor!

a) i hope you feel 100% soon
b) you look FAB
c) i would grab all of my jewelry. it is all costume jewelry, but i think i'd die without it. and if any fool tried to steal it, i would bludgeon her to death
d) i LOVE the tudors. and nurse jackie is the best. and when is dexter coming back already? and californication? clearly my life is tv. HAR!

adorable dress! i used to be addicted to the tudors, but thought the show lost its heat when anne lost her head in the first season. even though they remain a randy bunch and even though i could still watch it and fantasize about being in a rhys meyers/cavill sandwich. did you know that cavill was stephenie meyer's idea for edward when she wrote the twilight series? yum. but now i am really only addicted to dexter on tv.

I love The Good Wife. Love it.

I'm not sure what I'd grab...probably my entire jewelry chest, since I couldn't carry my mattress. My bed is awesome and I love it dearly.

And lastly, that polka dot dress is so fab! I'm always so sad when someone says something amazing was sold at Target a few years back because it means I just wasn't paying enough attention at the time to scoop it up myself.

Seriously, great look!

Love, love, love that dress!

If the house was burning or here in Oklahoma it could be a tornado and I had to grab one clothing item... I think I'd grab my red denim jacket. It makes me happy!
