Double-Booked

Last week This week One day that wasn't today, Rocquelle of Consider Me Lovely asked me to be her plus one at a private blogger event at the Houston Galleria.
There was a mini tour of a few stores showcasing their Spring 2012 looks.
I was kind of double booked that day because I had to attend the PJ Morton concert.
Lee-Lonn, my client, was the opening act so it is my job to attend his shows as his wardrobe stylist.
(Remember I was the video wardrobe stylist for Lee-Lonn's video:)

For the concert, I switched the striped skirt for a black maxi skirt and some flats.

LeeLonn was awesome and PJ Morton impressed me.
I even ran into someone who reads my blog!
*waves hi again*
I was totally surprised that someone other my sister reads my blog.
Well not really...because you read my blog...obviously:)

I always JOKE that only my sister reads my blog and that's just for the pictures! HA
(I know I have fab and faithful readers:)

 Skirt: Target
Top: (ASOS...it once was a dress)
Necklaces: Sam Moon (I'm wearing 2 sets of the same necklace)
Shoes: Jessica Simpson ( I wish I would've worn different shoes but whatever)
Custom Clutch: c/o Wearable Art ( I got asked no less than 20 times that night about this bag...literally)

You've seen this outfit in some form...

Thank you Rocquelle for taking my pics!

"I was totally surprised that someone other my sister reads my blog." You have tons of followers and people who comment all the time.. kinda belittles them a bit. Anyway, I've been watching your blog for a long time, but this is my first time commenting. I really love this outfit - it's one of my favorite's that I've ever seen you in - and the mix of patterns is great! I especially love the back of that top.

The pattern mixing is genius… The colors work well together and look great on you!

First THANK you for commenting and reading my blog. I wasn't trying to belittle my readers...sucks that my humor doesn't translate all of the time:( And I never anticipate meeting someone who reads my blog so it Is always a sense of "oh my goodness, I can't believe someone knows me). But I will be more careful of how I say things as not to offend:) #itshardouthereforapimp www.godsfavoriteshoes.com

First of ally, thank you so much for commenting for the first time! YAY!!
I wasn't trying to belittle my readers...sucks that my humor doesn't always translate all of the time:( And I never anticipate meeting someone who reads my blog in a random setting.  I always feel a sense of "Oh my goodness, you read my  blog!?!?" More of shock and surprise really.
But Iwill be more careful of how I say things as not to offend. That's never my intent. #itshardouthereforapimp

Killin it with these semi-backless tops! Update on the Easter challenge: no pastel colored suits. I was really hoping to catch at least one (tan was the color of the day). But I was at the early service, so that could've skewed things lOl.
