A Girl Can Dream

If you wonder what I wish I could wear everyday...this Stella Jean Collection is it.
All day.
Everyday.

I don't believe Stella Jean's collection is available in the states.
I'm not quite sure I could afford to give a kidney to get a piece if it was available.
BUT my mother has some African fabrics somewhere in her house.
My lack of sewing skills won't let me be great.
Anybody know how to sew?
Do you live in Houston?
Email me!
I'm serious.
No.
I'm serious.

Tom Ford's Loss

So, I stumbled into SAKS a few days ago...(stumbled because according to the U.S. Census I should only shop at the dollar store). I was browsing and came across the most phenomenal pair of sunglasses that I have ever seen in my life. They were everything that a pair of shades should be. I tried them on and I promise I saw my unborn children in the reflection. (Don't know how that fits but paints a pretty vivid picture doesn't it?)

They were by Tom Ford. Now, I know who he is. He is the genius behind Gucci and then his own line and most recently the movie "A Single Man." Yes, I know who he is. I only really know that anytime I read about him or see him in interviews, my inside voice always whispers that he is hot and so perfectly groomed. The point is I have never been that into Tom Ford "the brand",  mainly because I have yet to see any of his pieces at Marshall's on the clearance rack...doubt that I ever will.

But at that moment, when I placed those beautiful butterfly shaped sunglasses on my face, it was almost like my eyes were seeing for the first time. So I held them in my hand thinking that maybe just maybe I would be walking out of the store with them. I even tried on different colors. Black? Nah. Tan? Nope. Brown? Perfect!
(notice the slight smile)

I pictured myself walking and rolling my eyes at people but looking so chic in the sunglasses that those people would just smile back at me ...if they just didn't fall to their knees to bow down in praise. I imagined myself walking into my school where I teach and an announcement being made over the intercom that my sunglasses were so beautifully made for my face that I was the ONLY teacher allowed to wear sunglasses in class! I even envisioned what my children might look like with Tom Ford as the father.

I think you get it. Those sunglasses were the business! So, then I had a momentary lapse in judgement and looked at the price.....$420!!!! In American Dollars? IS. HE. STUPID!?!? I can't afford that! Do you know how many illegally smuggled cell phones and bags of Hot Cheetos a person in jail can buy with $420 on their books!?!?

At that precise moment, my shock turned into rage and I placed those all of a "sudden hideous looking things" back on the rack and stormed out of the store! TOM FORD should be so LUCKY to have my baby! Never. It was over. I broke up with him. If I had his number, I would have called him to inform him!
(notice the smile is gone)

So, that relationship is over. But the more I simmered over the brief affair, I realized that I had not given Tom Ford a chance. So, Tom...if you are reading this, you can make this up to me by just sending me the sunglasses. We could be good together. The sunglasses style name is even comfirmation that we should be a family. You named the style NICO. That's really close to my name...Reiko. It's meant to be. We could have named our kid Nico after the sunglasses that started are love affair.

Tom, Just send them. No note. No flowers. No card. No apology. Just send them and I in turn will consider being in a psueudo internet relationship with you again.  You can either do that or be warned that I am in good with the peeps at Target. I will have them make a knock off of those shades so fast, you'll spend most of your time in court trying to get the bootleggers to stop hustling those babies for 10 bucks. And trust me, the bootlegers I know even have Tax ID numbers. That's not worth it, is it?

Tom, have your people, call my people...or email my people at godsfavoriteshoes@yahoo.com.
I won't even ask for alimony or spousal support.

Sorry for the camera phone shots...No camera with me and that day was a lonnnng day.

Girl Fight!

(You have no idea how hard I would strut in this whole outfit. IT would be ridiculous. There would be smoke trailing my steps because I would be digging my heels in the ground so hard)
When I saw these pics from Sea of Shoes, I gasped. Like literally gasped. Then I got angry. VERY ANGRY. I would even say irate.
WHY ISN'T THIS WHOLE OUTFIT ON MY BODY?!?

So this is what I have to say to Jane from Sea of Shoes.

I know you are a teenager and a model and all of that stuff.  I know you have the model body and that great red hair and a closet sea full of fabulous shoes. But why would you taunt me with this outfit? You knew it was mine when you put it on. You know that I am obsessed with looking like Diana Ross at the most inappopriate times. Not only did you wear this fabulous kimono but you had the nerve to pair it with those killer shoes and THAT delicious bag. Do you have something against me? I don't even know you. I teach kids your age. I love the kids. But this is war.

So either you send me that sequin kimono and shoes to Houston immediately or be ready for all this jelly. Yes, I am a teacher and it's ethically wrong for me to fight kids but not on the weekends. I will fight you Jane.

I WILL FIGHT YOU. AND I WILL WIN!

Just give up the goods and I will continue to love your shoe game and nobody gets hurt. We can even do lunch if you want. We can meet in the middle. We can even meet in Madisonville, Texas...halfway point between Dallas and Houston. Nobody gets hurt and you can live your life being the fabulous teen that you are.

Just to prove how much I would worship this whole outfit, here is a list of all the places I plan to wear it.

1. To work...yes I teach high school but whatever.
2. To church...jeans and all...except that I will be holding a black Japanese fan in my hand to fan off the holy haters.

3. To the supermarket to pick up some gum.
4. To the movies to see "Why Did I Get Married Too?"
5. To pick up my nieces from school early...I would make sure that I walked all the way into their classrooms too so the little kids can whisper "Is that your auntie? Can I touch her?"

6. To job interviews...I would just sit and let them stare at me first.
7. To Zumba/aerobics class...and I will be in the FRONT row...not the back per usual.
8. To the Jill Scott/Maxwell concert this summer.
9. To my neighbor's house to borrow some eggs.
10. To the Oprah show when she finally gets wind that I'm still trying to be on her BFF team. This is so an OPRAH outfit!

See Jane? I have plans for the whole ensemble. Don't deprive me. Think about it....or else:)

Toodles!

(Just kidding! Jane is actually a blog diva with the fiercest shoe game.  I'm so jealous of her. I love you Jane...but send the kimono. Seriously. NO...Seriously)

Meet Sanaa!

Thanks to Love Maegan's blog, I found a new website. Looklet.com allows you to basically play dress up without ever leaving your bed!

So, since I am poor and have no business shopping, this is the next best thing. So from time to time, I will post a few of my creations. This is very in tune with being a professional stylist, which I would love to do if someone was totally not affected by the economy and could afford to pay someone like me to shop for them and have complete control over their look....wishful thinking, I know!

At any rate, here is my first attempt at Playing Dress up. Of course I chose a beautiful model to represent for me.

This first look is totally me! First of all, wasn't I just saying that I wanted a 70's caftan in this post? Yes I did. I even included a clip of Diana Ross cussing out Billy Dee Williams in a caftan. I just said it, remember?

Well, MY model...Sanaa (I totally gave her that name) is rocking the ultimate Caftan by none other than DVF...that's Diane Von Furstenberg. You know her, she is the one that introduced the WRAP dress in the 70's and has been on my wishlist for about 10 years now.

I love her. Even my fiance' could answer the following trivia question. "What designer's dress would your "intended" slice a throat for?" He would know to answer "A Diane Von Furstenberg" Dress. Trust me, he knows it.

At any rate, Sanaa...my imaginary personal muse/model/only black model I could choose on Looklet.com is wearing a Caftan by Diane Von Furstenberg! It's totally Diana Ross in Mahogany which is totally me:)

I got to add everything, the shoes, jewelry, clutch. Doesn't she look fly? If I owned this outfit, I would totally wear it to my bridal shower or engagmeent party or a night out in Morocco, heck even Baskin Robbins or even church...well, a church that was held in a club. lol (No Judgement here:)

So, I present to you my very first Looklet piece, I present to you Sanaa on her way to a dinner party. I would probably wear a little tank under if it were on my body because I don't want any trouble on the streets, but Sanaa lives in a perfect world! lol

This is so fun and total waste of downtime, but fun nonetheless.

What do you think of Sanaa? She'll be back, so get to know her. She is my new best friend:)

(this dress is totally appropriate to get for a birthday gift for those of us born in September...just saying)

*Update...it's two hours later and I am still playing dress up. Here is Sanaa meeting her friends for brunch...on the wrong side of town!! Love the necklace!

God Would Approve

This post is strictly for "oooohing and aaaahing" purposes. All shoes found at Nordstrom.com.
Do I have any of these? No. Would I like a pair? Sure. Will I get them? No. Do I love them? YES YES YES!

As, Miranda from The Devil Wears Prada would say..."THAT'S ALL."

Proceed with your day:)

Call Me Crazy?

You might have to call me a little crazy after this post. I am thinking about having my bridesmaids walk down the aisle with cute clutch purses in lieu of flowers. (proceed to lookout the side of your eye...it's okay...I expect it)

But if a wedding is supposed to reflect the couple's style, clutches would certainly be categorized as something that I love. Who says that you have to walk down the aisle with flowers anyway? Is that in a handbook somewhere?

Will I be shunned by my guest if they see beautiful clutch purses coming down the aisle instead of flowers? Will they stand immediately up and walk out of the room? Will they stone me? I think not.

I am an eclectic girl and I like eclectic things. This actually makes my soul sing happy songs. I love the details matching too...a clutch with a bow will get a matching shoe with the bow. I clutch with a flower would get a shoe with a flower...it's all in the details.

Just a thought. I am pretty sure I will get some opposition on this one but what would be the big deal? We walk around all day with purses on a regular day...how unnatural would it be for one to rock a bad clutch down the aisle....15 minutes TOPS!

I love it? Am I going too far? My planning juices are flowing and it takes someone like me to actually execute such a thought...but in my head it's quite "clessy" (spelled incorrectly purposely:)

Picture it. Black cocktail dresses, clutch and red sexy shoes. How fabulous! This is my version of "going green"...making sure all elements of the wedding can be used again...sounds good anyway!
I'm not going out of my way to be different but I don't want to go out of my way to be boring either:)

What do you think? Just an idea I am throwing around in my head...who knows, they may just walk down the aisle with some soulful eighth grade carnations after all!
***The clutch purses from the pictures above both come from Etsy.com. The shoes with the bows are Nina Electra shoes. The flower shoes I believe I found on Zappos.com***

P.S. I promise not to make this into a wedding blog...this is just a great place to bounce ideas around. I am going to the Anthony Hamilton concert tomorrow...hopefully I will come back with some fabulous Real People Street Style pictures!

...oh...and Amen!

5/25/09

I. AM. GOOD.

Okay. I am GOOD!

My friend is getting married in a few weeks and needed a pair of fabulous green shoes. They weren't just any kind of green...they were this lemon-y green that couldn't be found or possibly never existed.

She would call me from store to store and tell me that she hadn't found any luck yet. She almost settled on some cute pointed toe green something or others. The wedding is just in two weeks and I think she just wanted the process over with.

So, insert me into this story. I have a bad habit of becoming obsessed with a vision coming to life once I get involved. All week, I have been sending her pictures of shoes that she and her bridesmaid could wear. They were all just ideas...and quite frankly, it gave me something constructive to do while I count down the last nine days until my summer vacation. (Yay Teachers!)

Fast forward to yesterday, and I decide to get fitted for bras in Nordstrom's.

Long story short: Macy's is/was having a great sale and I needed new fabulous undergarments. When I got to Macy's, there was literally one sales associate working the whole floor and it didn't look like she was about to stop what she was doing to measure me. So, I got the bright idea to go to Nordstrom's to get "fitted and sized" and then come back to Macy's. I KNOW...SO scandalous but Nordstrom's wasn't having a great bra sale!
I thought the idea was pretty nifty personally:)

So, after I got my "drive-by" fitting, of course I had to browse the shoe department...WHO KNEW they were having the Sale of the year up in there! It was all kinds of mayhem going on. And I got sucked in. Since I now have my wedding dress, it's only right that I just browse or shall I say "look", that sounds alot less calculating.

So, I am browsing and walking and dreaming...and behold I came across this Delicious Green shoe! It stopped my heart like it was for my wedding and it clearly wasn't. I grabbed that baby and immediately called my friend to tell her about the shoe....of course she didn't answer...(just like in the movies).

I flipped the shoe over and WHAT, WHAT, WHAT?!?? Only $39.90 for this shoe. I had all sorts of excitement run through me (yes they have medication for that). I had never seen the exact green that my friend wanted yet. The only frame of reference I had was the color of her wedding invitation. It was the only pair in the entire store and it just so happened to be in her size, not that I really remembered her size but in a perfect world, she could fit it:)

So, I figured, I'll get the $40 shoes and if she doesn't like it...I can take it back. I bought the shoe and finally got in touch with her and had her meet me immediately...AND SHE LOVED IT!

When I say Love, I really mean Worship. Loved it as in she gasped and proceeded to prance in them right there in the middle of Marshall's (which was our meeting place...isn't it everyone's meeting place?)

I don't know why I got joy of that moment but I did. Maybe it's the inner stylist in me rearing it's ugly, conceited head. I KNEW THAT WOULD BE THE SHOE! I just knew...I felt like I single handedly gave her wedding the shoe it deserved. I am going too far with this, aren't I? (Forgive me, since I am done with graduate school, I find all kinds of things to fill the void).

Anyway...enough of the long story...I present to you THE GREEN SHOE THAT SAVED THE DAY (great book title).

These BP Enlightment Slingbacks are no longer available at Nordstrom's because of me and I take a little pride in that! I hope to find some kitten heeled versions in the future for my mom to wear at my wedding. She is already tall enough but something along these lines will suit her just swell.

...oh, and I may or may not have ordered the Red version for my wedding:) I am thinking about wearing two different shoes for the ceremony and reception...These are certainly more budget friendly than the LOUBOUTIN'S in the post below. I KNOW MY LIMITS...OR DO I??

(I feel a little wedding planner bug buzzing around in me...does being a Master of Googling and having a penchant for finding the right shade of green qualify me as such...I shall ponder)

Toodles.

....One more thing, I MOST CERTAINLY DID MARCH RIGHT BACK TO MACY'S AND SHOPPED FOR UNDERGARMENTS WITH MY HEAD HELD HIGH. FOUR CUTE BRA'S FOR UNDER 60 BUCKS...WHAT WHAT WHAT!!

Thank you Dear Fiance' for your Magic Macy's Card...I DID GOOD! (bad grammarintentional here:)

***P.S.*** Why did I just talk to my sister (Maid of Honor) and she informed me that she wants a red shoe with a RED SOLE...as in some CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN'S ?...IS SHE CRAZY!!

Here I am about to order our wedding reception dinner from Church's Chicken and she wants some RED SOLES?!? NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY WILL BE ROCKING RED SOLED SHOES AT MY WEDDING UNLESS IT IS ME OR Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada movie coming to personally attend my wedding!

SO unless you are going to buy some Louboutin's to PRESENT them to me as a surprise wedding gift...Back to MARSHALL'S you go dear sister!

  1. But in the event that you are trying to surprise me...focus on the Black/White Christian Louboutin Bouqet shoes in the below post or even these...INCREDIBLE!

HE-HE-HE......I Kid. I Kid...No Church's Chicken either...It will be Houston's finest...Frenchy's Chicken! LOL

Will Work for Shoes!

If you wonder what my wedding dress looks like now that I've ordered it but can't post a picture yet. Jjust imagine the dress you think would go with these Fabulous Slices of Holiness and you will probably be right!

I won't dare post the price of this shoe. I would be too shame to even type the numbers knowing that I survive on a teacher's salary. Put it this way, these shoes are about 8 times more than my beautiful wedding dress. Better yet, the guests at the wedding will each have to take turns taking a picture WITH the shoe because there would be no food there to feed them to cover the cost of the shoe!

But, oh...how they would make me happy on my wedding day!! And would most definitely complete the whole ensemble. Simply beautiful!

The teacher in me will send you on a little scavenger instead. The shoes are Christian Louboutin's Bouqet Platforms. I can't very well post a link to everything...that would make you lazy...and make me feel a little less guilty about having to subject you to such an astronomically priced shoes!

Do you think Marshall's has the knock-offs of these? Probably not. Back to Zappos.com I go!

What I can post is the inspiration for my dress. This is from the now defunct tv show THE GAME. I got my dress before I saw this but let's just say, this picture makes me happy.

It is not the dress...I repeat...NOT the dress but definitely in the same family:) The search is officially over. The dress is ordered and on it's way:)

I DON’T THINK... everybody looks good in Spandex (LOL)
I LOVE... my Chuck Taylors!

Mortgage Crisis!

These shoes could possibly be the reason why so many people are suffering with their mortgages. Women are risking their mortgage just to slide their feet into these delightful slices of heaven. They are b.e.a.u.t.i....ah, yeah you get the picture!!
These are so pretty that I wouldn't even put them in the closet...they would sit smack dab on my dresser for me to wake-up and worship every morning...(just kidding...I know who my God is:)

I haven't been super inspired by anything lately and haven't been anywhere as of late that was worth bragging about but these Louboutin's do the trick for me.

I won't even rant and rave about them...just look at them! I would SO wear these babies to my wedding with a knee length dress but of course judging from the price, I would be homeless after I purchased them.

So instead, I will just ogle these beauties and ask this crafty chick to get her trusty glue gun and left over rose petals from somewhere and make them for me! Lol!

.....A girl can wish can't she? Just look at them!

11/8/08

MY WORDS EXACTLY:)

THIS SONG SUMS UP HOW I FEEL ABOUT PRESIDENT ELECT OBAMA! I HAD TEARS IN MY EYES BY THE END OF THIS SONG! I WISH I TAUGHT GOVERMENT OR HISTORY RIGHT NOW! I AM STILL TRYING TO SOAK IT ALL IN! I CAN'T WAIT TO BE AT THE INAUGURATION IN JANUARY....(STILL LOOKING FOR SOME COMFY BUT FAB BOOTS:)NOW LET ME CONTINUE TO DANCE IN THE LIVING ROOM:)

In completely random news, I am officially endorsing this look for the holidays! I covet the whole suit from head to toe...and I will replicate...YES I WILL! .....

9/1/08

Just you wait!

I am not a Rihanna fan. I don't think she can sing one lick nor do I understand why the media follows her so much. But I will say that I saw a picture of her in an outfit that I absolutely worship. I just absolutely WORSHIP the look of a men's crisp shirt with skinny jeans or wide legged cuffed khakis and a skinny belt. That is so flattering on so many levels.

I am so going to replicate this look soon. I am actually thinking about going to Target and trying to replicate the look for "cheap" but I need a model or a sucker whichever sounds politically correct, to photograph. I can't wait. When I wear the outfit or find someone to do it for me, I will just throw the real life picture up here but for now...we'll just look at Rihanna rock the Men's classic shirt! I love, love, love.

The best part of it is that it will look great on women of all ages and shapes. I just pictured a certain graduate from Ball State University rocking this (you know who you are). Maybe one day, I'll convince you to wear it. (You can wear your silver Anne Klein shoes...he he he)

The best thing is we all probably have this outfit in our closet...just steal your man's shirt (son, brother, cousin) and put on great accessories. Skinny jeans woud look fab like Rihanna but a wide leg jean or khaki would be a great alternative. Whatever floats your boat.
I think the key is to have a shirt that is a size larger than your own so that it can baloon correctly at the waist. The other key is to not try too hard...the look too contrived.

I will call this the "Morning After" (after church:) look...that's when you just grab your man's shirt and walk out the door looking absolutely FAB.
I guarantee that Rihanna paid a kidney for that shirt. I am sure it is a designer something or other...or it just might be her boo's shirt...but nevertheless...the look CAN be achieved:) YES. WE. CAN!

I included some options to achieve the look on your own (or my own). The shirts are from The Gap and Target. The jeans are from Urban Outfitters ( I have a pair...and they stretch) and the skinny belt is from Target.
Hint, hint. The larger woman should wear a wider belt with the Men's Shirt but bring the belt up higher...That way you can have that Coke Bottle shape that our men love to see:)
Practically any high heel will do...this will be a FAB look for a casual dinner for the Fall season...although in Houston, we only have ONE season...HOT!
I promise to update this post with some real people...not that Rihanna isn't...it's just that I don't know her:)
In completely random news...Ladies that are Real Woman Sizes...16 and upwards...check out Old Navy's Exclusive line...Every piece is too cute.

What is really going on?

Has the world gone MAD?? (sorry...I just watched "The Other Boelyn Girl" today so I decided to speak with a British twist all day)

Anyway, has the gone world gone mad?I just read that McDonald's will be taking the Double Cheeseburger off the Dollar menu...because the price of cheese is too expensive? And Bush says that we are not in a recession? Next to Walmart, Mickey D's is a world wide conglomerate of a company and they say they can't afford cheese!

That puts my spending habits in perspective. If Ronald McDonald is considering taking the cheese off the cheeseburger then I certainly need to curb my spending habits.

So from this point on...well, let's give it one whole month's trial...NO SHOPPING for me.

None. Zero. Zilch.
That means no cute dresses, no cute shoes...the only exception is if I come across Purple accessories...meaning a purple purse or clutch. But not because I was out looking...but because God and fate and that purple clutch collided at the same time. My arms are too short to box with God anyway!

So in essence, what I mean by NO is I will not purchase any article of clothing for one whole month UNLESS I just so happen to run across the most beautiful Purple Clutch in the world. BUT THAT IS THE ONLY EXCEPTION!!! To be honest, this is not so hard for me to do. I don't shop all the time and when I do shop, it is always something that I love. I never buy things just for the heck of it. That NEVER happens with me.

So...not even so much as a pretty dress to celebrate my birthday next month.

Anywho...back to clothes. So before my self imposed shopping ban, I came across the most beautiful dress (until the next beautiful dress) at Anthropologie. It was a limited line by a designer out of New York. Of course they didn't have my size...Size Real Woman...so I walked out of the store empty handed and saddened.

I longed for the dress so badly that I went on one of my famous research binges...that means I obsess about something until I know all there is to know about something until I own it or obtain the "said" item...and then I'm over it.

Well long story short, I researched, googled, called, emailed, stalked, the stores of Anthropologie and the designer's store until I was triumphant! I got my hands on it!! I went so far as to email the designer on myspace and low and behold...she emailed me back. Now do you see, I am a stalker! Now if I could put the same effort into this research paper for my graduate course!?! Hmpph.

Anyway, The dress literally makes me happy. I loved it so much that I refused to wear it till I had somewhere wonderful to debut the gorgeousness of it all...I settled on a trip to The Skybar for Happy Hour because it didn't seem like anything more spectacular was going to happen.

Anyway, here is a pic of the dress hanging from my show room...aka...chandelier, as well as pictures as it was advertised, one of the pictures is even of the designer in her own design. But she can't do it like me. I plan on wearing it on my birthday (September), even it means sitting on the edge of my sofa singing happy birthday to myself...rocking back and forth...with my feet swinging!

I found a snapshot of me in the dress...I love it so! I wore it with some closed toes Mary Janes to the club and wore it with flip flops another day. I'm gonna find a way to wear it to church soon! LOL...I kid, I kid.

Let me explain my adoration for the dress. First of all, the fabric is what lured me to it. Basically, the designer, Zachary's Smile, decided to send her "fair-skinned" interns to the Ivory Coast, West Africa and gather all of the country's beautifully unique fabrics and bring them back to the states. Basically, the "man" has pimped our people again!!!

Just kidding...I love the man (FBI, IRS, FICA, The Gap, Bush, Martha Stewart...I love you all)

I digress...back to business. The designer then chose only two patterns to make all the dresses...either strapless or scoop necked silhouettes. ( I sound like I know alot huh...I don't...I just watch hours of Project Runway!)

Well the reason I fell in complete lust over the dress is the actual fit. It is the quintessential 50's dress. It's nipped in the waist and has a full skirt...WITH POCKETS. And here's the best part, the back is like a corset fit with elastic...( I am dancing right now in the living room singing Jill Scott's Golden...livin my life like it's golden, golden) A dress with an elastic corset fit!!! YAY!!!

The fabric is near and dear to me as well because I have immediate family in The Ivory Coast and have seen many of these patterns brought as gifts over time. I am international baby!

So you see, I had a close kinship to this dress! It made me feel closer to my family...not really, I can email them all day and all night if I wanted to but it is still a good back story! Onward......

Picture this...the Mother of Leave it To Beaver goes to Africa!! That's what the dress look and fits like. The best part is that since the fabric is limited...no dress is exactly alike! It is a limited edition which means "boo" to mass production! This means this is the closest to COUTURE I will ever get...until Oprah calls me!

Anyway...enough babbling about it...just Worship as I have. I promise to post a picture of me Rocking it soon. I promise!

By the way, Here are some pics of shoes I have gotten lately...all with purple of course. Again, my staple "pop of color" usually is red but I've decided to go not green but "go purple!"

So enjoy the ranting and pictures while I actively try to achieve my goal of not shopping for clothes for at least one month then two then three..until next year. I can try at least.

I need to stop spending "frivolously" before Cold Stone Creamery goes out of business...oops too late. Well, at least there is still Bennigans....Oops, not anymore. Well I have to stop before Circuit City and WalMart start stuggling.....yeah...too late for that one to. Well, I better stop before they starting putting less in our Doritos bags....yep...too late for that too.

So I guess I am just "not" shopping for my own personal glorification or to pay a bill on time for once.

No shopping...as of now...right now...Ready, set, go....Amen and Amen

***by the way, those purple shoes were $16 bucks at Macy's! And yes, my shoes and dress are hanging from my living room chandelier...that's ingenuity at its best. So my blog equipment includes a camera phone and a light fixture...Oprah's gotta call!***
